I Won't Stop review by Chuck Bettis

Forbes Graham has grown out of the american hardcore scene and has blossomed into a great experimental musician, collaborating with many like minded cohorts, such as Kayo Dot, but now presenting us with "I Won't Stop", a solo disc of trumpet and electronics. Forbes's approach to the trumpet brings to mind a close parallel to Wadada Leo Smith, eloquently paced notes and sharp squeezed brassy tone, but also seems to give a knowingly nod to Gordon Mumma with his incorporation of intricate yet chaotic electronics in accompaniment to the trumpet. Going further than these iconic forefathers had imagined, he has pushed both instruments into the outer extremes. For the first three tracks, Trumpet lines swim atop frantic electronics (sometimes gulping for air...although the first three tracks are the only ones with noticeable trumpet involvement), with the final five tracks displaying a range of glitchy processed sounds to solo ear-blistering wall of noise electronics to kick you in your jazz snob ass. Mastered by James Plotkin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
